Kellie Martin is an American TV, film and stage performer. Her most famous roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) as well as Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other notable roles include being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin was the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher started her career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children assisted Martin get a part in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". When she graduated from Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness, landing roles on both the smaller screen as well as on the big.
