Brandi passante was a star on reality TV after her appearance on the A&E reality program "Storage Wars". The show featured her ex-boyfriend Jarrod, now husband, and also. They were able to propel them to mainstream fame. The show's theme is that the items stored in storage lockers which the rent has not been paid for a period of three months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to acquire storage units for a low price. It was a surprise for them to be able to become famous. In the course of the series, the couple emerged as stars. Their popularity on the reality TV show boosted their company and enabled them to start a new shop addition to their existing shop that they already ran. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was created based on their appearance in Storage Wars.
